How to connect to our server.
Gracia Client Downloads:
*NOTE - Client(s) listed below must be fully updated from NCSoft to play on our server!*
Download from Gamershell.com

1) Our server does NOT auto-create accounts, you MUST create an account in the Account Manager.
If you do not receive the account activation e-mail in your "inbox", please check your "junk" or "spam" folders for it as well. You will not be able to log into the server with that account until it has been validated.

2) If you have not played on another server that used a custom patch, then skip to step 3 now, if you have, then open your Lineage II game folder and delete the system folder. (C:\Program Files\Lineage II\system\)
Now continue to step 3.

3) Assuming you have Lineage II installed, run LineageII.exe in your Lineage II folder and click Check Files. (C:\Program Files\Lineage II) This will upgrade your client to the newest version and rebuild your system folder.

4) Open the "etc" folder located here: (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\)

5) Once you're in the "etc" folder, right-click on the file named "hosts" and choose the option "Open with", then choose Notepad.

6) Go all the way to the bottom of the file, after everything that is already there and copy and paste these 3 lines into it. Make sure you use a "#" to comment out any other servers addresses you have in there.

#Lineage 2 Desolation
71.6.135.169 l2authd.lineage2.com
216.107.250.194 nprotect.lineage2.com

Save and close the file, once your updating of the client is done, start Lineage II and begin playing on our server!

P.S. Your hosts file should look almost identical to this example when you're done. You can select the code in the box below, then copy and paste it in your hosts file if needed.

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
